2:45 pm – 3:30 pm | Simplified Success: Streamlining Manitoba’s Health Research Approvals Get to know Research Improvements Through Harmonization in Manitoba (RITHIM). This provincial initiative involves multiple stakeholders with a goal to build a best-in-class provincial program for health research in Manitoba. RITHIM is unique across Canada in that it will harmonize ethics, privacy, and institutional impact reviews, creating a more efficient process for health research approvals. Learn about how RITHIM will provide a single online application for health researchers through the RITHIM Provincial Research Administration System (RITHIM-PRAS), distributing applications to the appropriate responsible entities for review, and providing harmonized responses and decisions back to the researcher.
