11:00 am – 12:00 pm | Community Mental Health Record General overview of the MHAIS application and it modules and support structure in place for SHA. Presented by: Janelle Clarke, CHIM Daniel Pierrard, CHIM SHA |
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm | Cancer Care patient portal MySaskHealthRecord (MSHR) is a free and secure website enabling patients to view their own health records and manage their own health information. After a user survey in 2023, MSHR users stated the utilization of MSHR helped them understand their health journey and be more informed and prepared for visits with their providers. Users had feedback regarding addition content to add to MSHR and documents from their provider visits was indicated to be desirable. Saskatchewan Cancer Agency (SCA) was chosen as a pilot to have their provider notes added to MSHR. This project began in January 2023 and added the notes in a phased release approach in May and June 2023. Post implementation benefits analysis was completed, and it was determined that this was a successful project positively impacting both patients and providers.
