Making connections to improve data and information quality

January 28, 2022 @ 3:00 pm 4:00 pm EST

Let’s network with one another to build our skills and improve data and information quality. This is an interactive session to get you thinking about:

  1. The ways you personally contribute to the quality of a person’s health story; and
  2. Skills you are looking to develop

We will walk you through an introduction to the session and then break out into rooms facilitated by our CHIMA chapter volunteers. Maybe you’re looking to code more complex charts, refine your skills in excel, or learn how to make decisions with the information presented to you—our goal is to see if there are people in the audience who can help point you in the right direction.

Come prepared to fill in these two blanks:

  1. I contribute to data and/or information quality by _____________.
  2. To expand my skills, I am looking for __________.

Here’s an example:

I contribute to data quality by coding day surgery charts. To expand my skills, I’d like to progress to code more complex ED or inpatient charts. Is there anyone on the line that would be able to point me in the right direction?

We encourage sharing your LinkedIn profile in the chat during this event too. See you there!
