Dr. Affleck will examine Canada’s approach to health data design and management in the care of individuals, linking this to poor performance with COVID-related data. Reflecting on the role of governance and policy, he will review exciting, new efforts in Canada to reimagine health data use for the digital age and consider the growing importance of health information professionals at decision-making tables.
