This presentation will provide an overview of the current cyber security challenges in health care and how artificial intelligence can help ensure health care data remains private and protected in a hyper-connected world.



The presentation will offer a current view of the cyber security challenges faced in the health care technology space and discuss real world attacks. It will also address “health care threat vectors” and the growth of the health care attack surface as a result of Internet of Things (IoT). As well, how artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) can help address health care cyber security challenges and ensure patient privacy is maintained.

Prior to BlackBerry, Eric was the Chief Technology Officer at Cylance and has also served as a senior federal government executive in the United States for several years, most recently as Deputy Director and Chief Technical Analyst at the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
