This new certification offers graduates from a CCHIM-accredited terminology standards program the opportunity to earn the Certified Terminology Standards Specialist (CTSS) professional designation. Read more

The Certified Classification and Coding Specialist (CCCS) professional designation offers early career CHIMs an opportunity to deepen their knowledge in the classification and coding field and allows experienced professionals to earn a professional designation that is specifically aligned to the classification and coding segment of HIM. Read more

December 2018 - Clinical Documentation Improvement Certification Announced

Our new CDI certification is geared towards CHIM professionals, regulated clinicians, and other regulated health professionals. Candidates who write and pass the exam will be able to use the Certified Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist (CCDIS) professional designation following their names. Read more
