Evolution: Privacy awareness campaigns

Evolution: Privacy awareness campaigns

Formerly, CHIMA hosted a privacy awareness week that spanned five business days. We’re now transitioning to an awareness campaign so that partners, members, and other interested parties can contribute privacy-related content year-round to the dedicated campaign page.

This new approach presents inclusive and extensive opportunities to encourage involvement in the discussions on privacy. Volunteers will be able to add relevant content and advance the conversation on privacy awareness, and members will be able to search for and access relevant content towards their continuing education.

The campaign will be launching on May 2, 2022, and we encourage you to learn more about two events happening that first week: “2022 updates on the Emerging Privacy Practices in Health Care series” (a webinar on May 2, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET) and “Making connections to improve privacy awareness” (an exclusive networking session for CHIMA members on May 4, 3–4 p.m. ET).
