Ask Me Anything : AI in Health Information with CanScribe College

$30.00

Speaker: Justin Chapman, B. Mgmt, Chief Operating Officer, CanScribe College

This presentation provides a practical, Canada-focused overview of how artificial intelligence is currently being used in healthcare and where it is realistically headed. We will explore real-world applications such as medical imaging, clinical decision support, AI scribes, and system operations, supported by current studies and Canadian policy guidance. Importantly, this session is not about replacing clinicians or radically transforming care overnight. Instead, our goal is to make AI implementation feel less scary and more understandable by grounding the conversation in evidence, regulation, ethics, and everyday use cases. By focusing on assistive, well-governed, and human-centered applications, the presentation aims to help healthcare professionals and decision-makers better understand where AI can add value, where caution is required, and how it can be adopted responsibly within Canada’s public healthcare system.
