Esri resources
Once an educational institution has subscribed to the College Educational Resources Program (CERP), its faculty and students have access to Esri resources.
The CHIMA GeoHub is a self-service platform for exploring the use of geographic information systems (GIS) to map, analyze and share data for better health outcomes. Created by Esri Canada for CHIMA members, the GeoHub includes several GIS tutorials and training resources accredited by the College.
Many health questions are location based. Learning to use GIS will help you and your students answer questions such as: Where is disease spreading? Where are the vulnerable populations in my community? Where should I open a healthcare facility?
Through the CHIMA GeoHub, you can access numerous GIS tutorials and training resources that will equip you and your students with essential mapping and spatial analysis skills.
- View the Terms and Conditions for using the CHIMA GeoHub.
- Request to access the CHIMA GeoHub
- Activate your account within 14 days of receiving your login credentials. You will receive an email from “ArcGIS Notifications” with your username and password. Please check your junk/spam folder.
- Complete the tutorials. You can earn CPE credits for each completed tutorial by taking a screenshot of the map, dashboard or story map you created from the tutorial and include it as an attachment to your CPE activity submission.
