Focused on appropriate external cause code selection, Traumatic injuries and post-intervention conditions: An external cause codes session, takes one through various coding definitions, tools, resources, and relevant thought exercises for traumatic injuries (transport accidents & falls) and post-intervention conditions. It includes a documentation hierarchy, post-intervention condition description and differentiation. This session started as a working group via the CHIMA BCYT chapter and is a resource for experienced coders.
