An interview exploring a perspective on the current state of health information in Québec. 

Learn about how Québec’s health information professionals have overcome challenges unique to their province, how its landscape has changed during the COVID-19 pandemic, and what the immediate and longer term future may hold.

Gradué en archives médicales au Collège Laflèche de Trois-Rivières en 1999. J’ai travailler, entre 1999-2008, dans diverses organisations entre Gatineau, Moncton (N.B.), Montréal et Laval. entre 1999 et 2008. Depuis 2003, j’ai occupé principalement des fonctions de gestion, comme assistant-chef, superviseur ou chef de service. Depuis 2008, je suis chef des archives médicales à Trois-Rivières et environ,après deux fusions d’établissement. En parallèle, j’ai obtenu un baccalauréat en gestion de PME à l’École des Hautes études commerciales (HEC) de Montréal en 2016. Depuis 2012, je suis également administrateur à l’Association des gestionnaires de l’information de la santé du Québec (AGISQ), dont vice-président (2013), et président (2014–).

Cassondra McCrory is the Manager, Stakeholder Relations for French-speaking Canada (Directrice, Relations avec les parties prenantes) at CHIMA. She is responsible for leading activities related to the growth of CHIMA and the Canadian College of Health Information Management in francophone regions, as well as supporting francophone partners and members in the HIM-sector. Cassondra enables health-focused organizations to thrive through strategic growth, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge exchange across public and private sectors, nationally, and internationally.
