They help organizations efficiently gather and report information at the bedside and improve clinician workflow, among other things. The rise of mobile devices in health care has created a need for new rules and regulations, legal, and technological considerations to ensure data quality and privacy. This PPB provides an overview of various mobile health care computing devices, discussed the benefits of adopting mobile health technologies, and explores the role of HIM professionals in developing and maintaining the use of mobile health technologies.
