Description of Job:

The Information/Data Steward is responsible for managing data assets, data lineage, and data access. The Steward supports sound data analysis and rationalization of the organization’s information strategy. The Information/Data Steward is a professional role that focuses on data
strategy, execution, and support for projects, programs, application enhancements, and production fixes.

Job Duties:

  • Monitor data quality and data accuracy across all group delivery initiatives
  • Perform data analysis, data profiling, data modeling, and data mapping capabilities
  • Review and govern data queries
  • Monitor the assessment, delivery, quality, accuracy, and tracking of any production data fixes
  • Define standards and leading practice for data analysis, modeling, and queries
  • Understand end-to-end data flows and identifying data dependencies in support of delivery, release, and change management

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in health information management, health informatics, information technology, health administration or associated discipline
  • Minimum of three years’ in information governance, health information management, information technology in a healthcare organization or in an associated field
  • CHIM certification
